So, we've updated to the new version of ProBoards. On my end... There's a LOT of changes. Some are nice, some look interesting, some give me a headache...
I've got a lot of playing around to do, but from your side, what do you think? We have a shoutbox now, which could replace the chat, but the chat is still an option, so we'd have to decide which we prefer, I suppose. Since the shoutbox directly links with the forum, and the chat requires separate log-in, I assume we'll probably end up preferring the shoutbox unless there's something really annoying about it.
There is now the option to add custom pages, which means I can add more aside from the forum onto this, which is quite cool. I don't know the limitations yet, since I haven't messed around with it, but we'll see.

I definitely prefer this shout box to the chat box you had. The chat you were using gave me a number of issues (at times I couldn't even use it) and I had to sign in to the chat just to see if there was anyone else in it (note I say sign in to the chat, not sign in to my forum account). Granted I don't particularly like the fact that anyone can see the chat contents with this present chat -I'd prefer it if people had to be logged in to their forum account to do so- but I still prefer it to the previous one. On another note, is there any chance we could get some sort of functioning spoiler tag? Maybe like what this guy did up, or something newer if they've come up with something new since then? I'd like to use spoiler tags when talking about a new show I'd like to recommend.

I can't seem to (easily) remove the ability to see the shoutbox if you aren't logged in. I CAN disable guest comments, however, which I have done.
That code doesn't work in v.5 of Proboards, but they do now have a plugin which I installed and it should now be available

Let's see... {testing}Hidden text! It's a bit hard to see the text within the tags with this color scheme, but it does seem to work.

It should be a bit easier to read now, but I've gotta do some messing with it. There appears to be a CSS editor on it where I could most likely make it take the color from the theme, but me and CSS aren't on speaking terms, lol, it'll take a bit of messing around
